It was our great pleasure to come in contact with Luxor Tours this past January who helped us plan our small group tour to Egypt. In my search for independent travel to Egypt, I had come up with some ideas when I contacted Angela Hagen of Co-op Travel. She indicated that her company had previously done business with Rafik of Luxor Tours which is based out of Toronto and had very successful stories from travelers that had booked with them. We were among the happy travelers who had nothing but good to say about both Luxor Tours and their local provider, Sylvia Tours out of Cairo. From the moment we hit Cairo their representatives where always prompt and courteous, they were always at the destination pickup points and every one of the local guides was fluent in English and were Egyptologists in their own rights.

Whether or not it was at a pickup for a tour or at a destination point, Sylvia Tours never let us down. Their agents were friendly, knowledgeable and thorough in helping us enjoy the trip and the sights and were always available to suggest alternative choices in activities on our days off. The accommodation that we used along the way, including the ship for the Nile cruise, was fabulous and of a 4 star quality and better. Meals were included in a full board format with both the breakfast and dinner meals in buffet style, giving all of us ample opportunity to sample all of the wonderful foods of Egypt. Schedules were tight as we had so many wonderful places to see and visit, but Sylvia Tours never let us down, always keeping us one step ahead of other tour operators and avoiding any problem areas which could have easily caused us loss of precious time. Helping us through the many airports, hotels and attractions made our journey a complete breeze and no concern was given as we knew we were in good hands. We considered our hosts as our friends and were even invited to one of our local agents homes to meet his family and friends…now that's what great memories are made of!

If your plans include a trip to Egypt, make sure you inquire about Luxor Tours before you book elsewhere. For price and value, I think you will find they are hard to beat.
